            Description
A confederate note from 1861 issued in the amount of $1000 confederate dollars.  The top reads "Twelve months after date" at the top.  it's number 297 and says that it is "One Thousand Dollars with interest at Ten cents pr. day".  The date is listed as May 28, 1861 and the location is Montgomery.
