The middle one states that ex-braceros were about to block the border to protest the incarceration of Ventura Gutierrez. He was released before this could happen. This caption was published August 19, 2005. The bottom caption states that ex-braceros did not accept the 38,000 pesos that the Mexican government offered them. They said they wanted a minimum of 100,000 pesos. This does not have a publishing date.
